I just spent a whole day at a tech conference looking for work. Ended up in a room with some pretty cool people and got some potential freelance jobs in the future.

The day was amazing great people in my field of work for 12 hours straight was awesome!

How was my day? I discovered that the hard lump i was feeling in my left nut is actually cancer, and i'm getting it removed tuesday 9th. Also since it might also be the case for my right testicle in the future (fuckload of little white dots all over it in the echography, possibly the sign of cancef if it evolves), i drove 2h to another city so i could put some sperm away if i ever want children.
But my ex lives there and i also saw her, she was quite comforting. 1st time in 8 months i hold someone in my arms... I miss that human warmth so much, i would gladly give my right nut to have that again (not with her though, bitch crushed my heart)

I don't smoke, rarely drinks (but when i do usually it's a lot), and know how to save money. I still have a decent car (17yo but in good shape, a 206 peugeot), a computer worth around 3k € (upgraded over the years). The rent where i live is super cheap (for France. 78m^2 for 520€/month with water and gas. Too big for one person, but the plan was to live together with my ex before ae broke up, and im too lazy to move just for a few month). I made a pretty decent salary where j work for 5y (~1900€/month), so with what i earned from my "rupture conventionnelle" (not fired; 6500€), i have around 28000€ saved.
I might have a "bourse" (money from the region/gov. Maybe), or i'll take a loan, because if i pass the exam, i'm sure to get the diploma, and with that i'm set for life (easily 4000€/m for a newbie, even if that wasn't the only reason to try)
