Yes, I have to consider the options. The bar would definitely be shut down, that will be my threat, since they can pay the workers off the books ( somehow) they can pay me without any problems on their end.

The workers will be liable even if they get let go, undeclared income and not paying taxes. I think some of the workers fucked up and have their wages garnished by the government, that's why they work for cash, they can still collect ei and work. Qualify for low income housing this way. Etc.

Then you start wondering how much all this is worth that you've put time and money into.
