So I wind up with my fathers shotgun loaded with a 12 gauge slug I bought from Walmart to my forehead, about to blow my brains out, and I feel something extraordinary.

So at first I lived for distractions, playing video games and such, reading, my uber religious family of course tried to stop that, so I wound up spending a lot of time away from my house. I wanted to spend more time away from home, so I joined soccer, then football in later high school.

I got pretty /fit/ and pretty soon people that previously would have never looked at me wanted to be my friend. I realized that people are just like any other game, they can be played so long as you have the right stats. (no joke this is how I see things)

So I got /fit/, got a job, moved out as soon as I could, as it turns out being a guy whos in shape in geeky clubs more or less lets me fuck any of the qt geeky girls I choose (even if I am still a 5'6'' manlet)

Basically faked confidence led to real confidence, and pretty soon I was bored of sex, I still dated and fucked (currently have two girls I am both seeing on the side, they both know) but it wasn't important to me, and because it wasn't they are desperate to make themselves valuable to me.

So I had several long hard years of working out and figuring how people react, faking confidence before long you realize you become your own mask.

Making yourself a more interesting person who people want to be around is not difficult, there are a few things you can do.

First. You need a physical culture. If you are a reader, go read the works of Pavel Tsatsouline, Arthur Saxon, Dan John, and a few others. Learn weightlifting (I personally do kettlebell) and yoga. Take a yoga class twice a week, be bad at it if you have to. You need to humble yourself and be bad at something but force yourself to do it anyway. Read about nutrition and give yourself something better. It doesn't have to be 100%. Usually 70% effort is good enough. Think of this an intellectual endeavor. The men who wrote those books are all very intelligent and certainly did.

Here is something to think about OP. When you improve your life for you. Do things you like. Travel because you want to experience things. Workout so you can be the best version of yourself. When you do things for yourself you become a better person.
