His dog had fleas real bad. He kept the dog inside his apartment, so his whole apartment had fleas everywhere. He put his dog in his car, so his car had fleas, everywhere.
Every time he came over, he had fleas on him. We learned that we couldn't allow him to sit on our furniture, or stand on our carpet..
He was such a nice guy, but we had to treat him like a plague ridden leper.

A good bath with some front line for like a week straight should do it. I've seen flea and tick infestations turn around entirely when the owner puts some fucking elbow grease and care into their mutt. I've got a mini pitbull I took from some dumbass who raised her as a fighting dog. Sweetest dog but when I first got her she was kept outside, and had rashes, fleas, and ticks all over. I told the guy he should sell me the dog, and he ended up parting with her over a $20 bag of weed. A week of baths with frontline shampoo cleaned her up rightly. Now it's twice a week to prevent any fleas.

I don't associate with that dude anymore.
