People like them for aerial footage or moving footage because GoPros are far cheaper than getting an expensive camera for a drone or setting up a whole track and dolly rig.

No professional will touch them (and if they say otherwise, they have low standards and are not the sort of "professional" with whom you want to work).

Also, most people don't tend to do proper post-processing on the footage to remove the fish-eye effect and so you get a whole ton of these awful videos on the web. Things like sky-diving, fine, but they're not good cameras, period.

Aphria is the only profitable marijuana company rght now.
