communism can't work because humans are the only ones capable of establishing it. people need to be motivated to do their work, want to be rewarded for doing extra, and eventually nobody is going to give a single shit about what the state wants because it does nothing for them in return. you could circumvent that with indoctrination, but an establishment built for that purpose would already have more power than other people. this isn't even touching the economic part of the argument.
