I would say if the gorilla knew how to fight, which it doesn't. I'd easily put my money down on the gorilla cause that thing could crush a bear with its raw strength. If I remember correct a gorilla 5-10x the strength of an average human, whilst a bear is only 3-5x. It also all depends on how it all goes down of course. This is a no contest no brainer.
Bear is larger exerts more force and power with a single swipe.

If they both operated at their maximum capacity, assuming they both utilize their primary offensive and defensive methods of attack, equally, the bear wins almost every time.

If the gorilla jumped on his back, grabbed him by the upper and lower jaw and did a king kong on him then clearly he'd be the victor, but gorillas dont do that in conventional combat.

In almost every situation where the gorilla does not take immediate dominant control, the bear will win.
