The percussion in this is kind of fucking bananas, new drummer's much better than the dead guy. Wish they'd ditch Shadows though, the dude's tone and range is meager as hell without any dynamic to it, he just neuters their sound. Really solid record, all said and done. FMtS was a close second, but something about the "loudness" in its production just throws me off. Its got plenty of beefy riffs, but I think Link was when they perfected that tribal, primitive sound they were going for in their debut. It was their most distinct sound, and the songwriting is excellent.
