First we have to take the script, and this is assuming you're the only person in the queue at the moment (the queue is the collection of work that must be done. Patients who drop their scripts off and wait for them are given highest priority. We want you out of the store). We scan the image, select your profile, select your prescriber, select the medication, write the instructions in a way that is legible and not jargon abbreviations, input your refills authorized, date written and all that jazz, then we bill your insurance. From that point, the pharmacist checks to see if you've done that correctly. Then you must scan the stock bottle of the correct drug, which causes the label to print. You then count the amount of medication (you must double count if it is a controlled substance), place it in the bottle, and label it. You then hand this to the pharmacist, who performs the final check. If you're not the only person in line, expect to wait a bit. Even if you're the only person in the store, we're also working on electronically-received scripts.

I have pretty bad sciatica and was prescribed gabapentin, but it didn't do much for me.

Yes, and other effects too. Before Christmas, I took 2mg of Xanax, and decided to have a beer. Then another, followed by another 1mg of xanax, a white russian, and a trip across the stateline, to the nearest liquor store. I returned with two fifths of whiskey.

I had drank about, I'd say 4 shots of whiskey, and popped some another xanax by the time my friend and his wife showed up. I remember them getting here, and then the next thing I remember was waking up to a destroyed house, friends (and my cats) who were scared shittless, and a fist that was cut to hell from punching every picture frame and mirror in my house. I also discovered that before the rampage I'd taken 1600mg of Gabapentin. Afterwards I apparently at least attempted to snort Benadryl, because I found a bunch crushed up and cut into lines on my desk.

I'm not a mean, or violent drunk. Drinking mellows me out usually and I'm already very laid back and easy-going. My friend actually had to try and round up all my firearms because apparently I got out my grandpa's old 10 gauge, and was playing with it. I drank the entire first 5th, and my friends hid the other from me, and were contemplating calling an ambulance, due to how crazy and out of control I became. There were some physical symptoms too, like very hot skin, and labored breathing. Needless to say, I'll never touch Gabapentin again.

Sometimes my left eye quits working, my the backs of my hands always tingle/burn/numb, and I have the most intense pain I've ever experienced in my life for the majority of the day in three distinct spots on my head. How many times have you gone fishing for them with ur doc? There's certain things u can say to increase your chances. E.g. Extreme social anxiety (vomiting before even going to work) and also describing bouts of panic attacks but W/O using the words panic or attack. They hear that and they shut down for some reason. But describe the symptoms and they'll usually be way cooler about it. Or say you used to take them back in the day and they worked great for ya. All of those usually up the odds. Good luck mang

I've been on so many meds for 5+ years so taking pills at the sametime everyday is a normal part of life, doubt i'd miss a dose anymore. Also pretty sure i'll be taking meds in some form or another forever, so i've accepted that.

I used to think that too. I actually was diagnosed with ADHD as a kid, but went largely untreated. I started buying Adderall on the street, because I thought that since I had ADD (I outgrew the hyperactivity in my early teens)they might help. They got me high as fuck, and basically made me feel like a god. It should not do that to people with ADD. I was very functional for a change too.

Eventually they started having the opposite effect, and my thinking became an even bigger mess. As it turns out, I have a mild (if it can truly be called that) form of Schizophrenia, which is to blame for my difficulties in focusing, concentrating, and socializing normally, and for my often jumbled, disorganized, and bizarre thoughts.

Amphetamine is a drug that has a clinically well documented association with schizophrenics, as do weed, alcohol, and nicotine. Most schizophrenics are found to have a history of abusing one or more of them. All three seemingly help alleviate symptoms, and make things better in the short run, but long term they can trigger psychotic episodes, or intensify them.

Not saying you are schizophrenic. Statistically you are probably not. Still, self-medicating is bad. You end up harming yourself far more than not.

Only time I ever experienced those symptoms was during benzo withdrawal years ago lol, maybe that's why. Still doesn't make sense to me how she'll prescribe 60 addys for my first time but only fill my Xanax script every few months and give me 10 at most. Not even bars either. I might try that though but the only issue would be shed think the adderall is causing the "anxiety" and either stop prescribing it or give me less. Just trying to get a steady supply of both and if fake panic attacks she'll probably stop giving me addys.

I can see how weed would be bad for someone with schizophrenia, but nicotine? And adderall is pretty safe as long as you use it responsibly. How much adderall did you take? 10mg is perfect for me, gets me focused and gives me that euphoria/rush too.

Ritalin is methylphenidate, not amphetamine. Dexedrin is only 1 isomer of amphetamine. Adderall is an uneven combo of both isomers of amphetamine. Meth is a modified amphetamine molecule, making it more potent and more neurotoxic. Basically, amphetamine is to meth as margarine is to plastic.

generic acetaminophen plus ibuprofen has a synergistic effect, no abuse liability, probably better at blocking the anxiety component (cingulate gyrus) better than opiates.
