Not trolling, can someone explain to me why people who have ridden for years buy 250s? I had to drive one during my course before I got the license years ago and it even felt too small back then.

I got my first bike two months ago. An 06 rebel 250 with only 650~ miles on it. Weather has been shitty as fuck with rain nonstop on my days off work.

It seems like in the UK that sportbikes have a different rep. Here, in the US, if you buy some huge 1.4L inline four bike people assume you only drag race or use it to add inches to your dick. But in the UK, they're used for comfy touring with good torque. It's hard to find luggage for bikes like that here. Also in the UK they're only given to people why have passed the gauntlet of licensing. Here, any idiot can pick up anything to start on.
