What is the ultimate way to prepare a steak? Pan seared, grilled, etc?
I swear by pan searing mine rare-med rare depending on the cut, throwing in some butter and basting it near the end with some crushed garlic and a little lemon. Always turns out insanely good, way better than grilling. Gets that nice crust outside when seasoned correctly and the butter adds another level to the flavor and blends in very well with the natural marbling and fat of the steak.

It goes back to Ancient Rome where those who could afford it used black pepper & honey (though it's been proved now from Pompeii that the middle class could afford black pepper).

Fwiw I despise pineapple on pizza. It's a great way to ruin the flavor of the pizza itself. That said, it's also a great way to hide the flavor of a shitty pizza, so I guess you're making a statement about the quality of the pizza when you put pineapple on it.
