Far right ideology was mostly dead until far left ideology rose in america. People got pissed off at the fact that they could not say what they wanted without consequence as as a result you see the lib shit-fit, trump as pres, anitfa, etc.

The media has also polarized the politics in america so expect another civil war soon.

I am. Consider this though, as automation becomes progressively more advanced, fewer and fewer jobs will be available. Feilds like programming and business won't be exempt from this.

When there are only enough jobs for 50% of the population, what will everyone else do? What about when there's only enough jobs for 20% of the population?

At a certain point socialist welfare will be a necessity to prevent mass starvation.

1. too expensive
2. maintenance is too expensive
3. doctors can preform tasks anywhere, machines you would have to wheel around or wheel the patient to them, rather than the doctor being able to work almost anywhere right then and there
4. dont have to tell the program what to do, doctor can self initiate in task

There are comprehensive social welfare programs that aren't rife with corruption, but people can still apply themselves and start a business or service and work to get it off the ground. or maybe you have to be very well trained to be a therapist because you wouldn't want your therapist, or anyone trying to work with you medically to not be knowledgeable in what they are doing. So you can either higher more for poor quality, or less for higher quality. Take your pick

but no machine will replace a therapist, assist- oh yeah, esp. in physical therapy

if a machine was financially more viable why dont you think more hospitals have not replaced their dr's yet

they made up a fairly small percent of trump's voter base. not really why trump won. alt-right candidates around the world have thus far all failed as well. they're a fringe political ideology that focus on conspiracy theories like white genocide, soros/globalist boogeymen, shareblue, etc and are generally looked down upon even by moderate conservatives.

i think they were a bunch of inexperienced teenagers struggling with puberty and hormones who got roped in initially by PUA communities, and over the years as they got older and hit their late teens and early twenties they ended up going from PUA to "red pilling" which is the doorbell to the alt-right echo chamber.

my honest opinion is that /pol/ and other alt-right communities are by and large a bunch of bitter, sexless, average intelligence neckbeards angry and looking for someone or something to blame for why they aren't getting any, and my experience with every alt-righter i've met irk thus far confirms this.

You're completely delusional if you think that the vast majority of trained labor isn't replaceable.

>if a machine was financially more viable why dont you think more hospitals have not replaced their dr's yet
Because it's still a developing technology. As it's developed it will surpass the economic viability of surgeons and replace them.

>see more patients in a single day, and operate with more flexibility
Incorrect. As it's developed further it'll be able to flawlessly perform different surgeries in ways doctors could never hope too. It'll be as fast or faster than the doctors and could run for 24 hours a day.

I shouldn't expect you to understand any of this though, you think therapy is an irreplaceable profession

>>
Thing is, allthough there's been a few mentions of far-left ideology in this thread, only in burgeria would anyone think that was even remotely socialist. To anywhere that's even had a remotely left-wing government, using far-left to describe the annoying twats who are prepared to take up offence against any perceived slight against inclusive ideals is quite different from having socialist political beliefs.

Whenever Burgers accused Obama of being a socialist, or even a communist, I couldn't help but laugh. The democrat party, as far as I can see it, may occasionally throw some scraps to the underclass but they're in bed with corporatism. And in the US it seems that's how a party has to be, otherwise they're unelectable due to lack of campaign donations.

What this has resulted in is the whole political spectrum being gradually shifted over to right-wing corporatist entities. There's a term for this but I can't be bothered to search for it. Anyway, anyone thinking they've ever met a socialist in the US either knows someone with quite extraordinary viewpoints (defined as away from the median) or really don't get left-wing thought.

The centre-right politics of the Democrat party is seen as left wing extremists by some Americans because they're so broken down by their class system. Anyone who dares stand up to big corporations in the defence of citizens is immediately branded a Commie. Not that either of their two parties have ever chosen people over business.
>>
>>729799790
machines can help but they cannot be the sole provider

say you have a TBI, from either auto or DV they may be appraxic or have increased muscular stiffness, or perhaps subluxation from a cva, whatever

the human therapist reads the reports from the other therapists, sees how they are doing so far, treats them for their goals, comes up with the goals too for their pt to accomplish while they are in rehab, and impliments them. but they can tell when to stop and when to keep pushing, and encourage them and inform them of different approaches and techniques to help them improve.

machines help guide the muscles in retraining for ROM and coordination, but a human therapist can do more tasks with them where machines in the field are more specialized for whatever tasks which are usually singular.

again, machines are good, but i dont think they could completely replace a pt

>What does /b/ think about the rise of far-right ideology?

I saw it start around year 2000. I was playing various star wars video games and noticed there were a large number of young men who idolized The Empire. I thought that was weird since most people that age should be seeing themselves as independent, a strong solo hero not bound by the formal conventions of society.

After that, I noticed it more and more online - a large segment of socially isolated juveniles who seemed to find strength and belonging in something larger, more powerful than themselves.

I think the rise of the far-right is a product of the alienation and lack of confidence that people who live mostly online lives suffer. It gives people who have no real lives a feeling of belonging and comfort.

Losers.

>Also, every pseudo-intellectual out there idolizes George Orwell, and while I do r blah blah blah.

I don't think you've read it, and I'm certain you haven't understood it. Which is odd, because he was quite OCD about having simple, easily expressed ideas (Politics and the English Language is readily available online).

1984 was a satire on the communist state. Orwell was a socialist. This is not the same as a totalitarian communist. Same as animal farm.

Also, you might want to check out the afterword from The Road To Wigan Pier (from the 1950s or so forth) where he said that cranks, vegetarians, and so forth (would have included hippies and SJWs if they existed back then) would be the death of proper socialism due to it attracting cranks of all stripes.

Don't get me wrong, I don't idolise the bloke (and he'd have hated that sort of shite anyway); just that a lot of people seem to turn their brains off at the image of Big Brother and don't bother to critically think about what he had to say.

The experimental McDonalds that serves twice the customers with 1/3 of workforce because their limited menu just makes it quite easy to automate the cooking, oh will never happen. All this companies dropping millions on this, because stupid. Robots and machines don't need holidays nor they need sleep.
