You could MAYBE do these yourself if you've got the 2 valvers, which I don't. I have the 3 valvers, the ones that have spark plugs that break off in the head. Hmm. Kill me.

I just recently left Ford after working there for 8 years. first of all if you can't do plugs on a 2 valve you shouldn't be touching a wrench. but 04-mid 07 are the years that had the 2-piece plugs. on average I'd break one or two. do them with the engine warm, and soak some pen lube in the hole. it will all burn off the next time it starts anyway so it's not hurting anything. let it sit for 15 minutes or so then hit it hard with a long ratchet. always worked well for me.

well they were 4 threads rather than 9 on the updated ones but yeah, still not a good move. the back one is tight but it's doable as long as it's not a V10 in a Super Duty. but if you're honestly about to attempt them yourself buy the $50 removal kit first. otherwise you're totally screwed if one breaks. and working on it with the engine warm isn't going to hurt you unless you try to grab the plug bare-handed when you pull it out.

For a starter bike you should be looking at a 250cc-500cc bike. Any lower and it'll be extremely shit on the highway and any higher and it'll be too powerful for you to not terrify yourself

I started on a Ninja 300 a couple years ago, bought the CBR cause it's a step up.

Good starter bikes include the CBR300R, Ninja 300, KTM RC/Duke 390, Yamaha R3, and basically any other bike in that cc range.

Buy used, it'll save you money and you will almost definitely end up aesthetically damaging your first bike so it's better to have a used one instead of a new bike so you don't totally lose your shit when you get a scratch on your tank.
