I'm not MGTOW, by any means, but I've stopped trying for relationships and just settle for quickies and short-term stuff.

All you ever do, every day, is think of ways to entertain them. What should we go do? Maybe make some romantic gesture? Take her out to eat? Go on a small trip? Do this, do that? Not to the household, they never buy anything, or do you any favors other than maybe cleaning something once in a while. Not to conversation, they never say anything of substance.

Every time you're in a relationship, it's a constant job of keeping them entertained, while they just sit there like a queen and you the jester.

Why don't they take us out on dates? Why don't they ever try to impress us? Why don't they surprise us with something we enjoy? Why don't they think of something to say when there's an awkward silence? How is that my fault, when I've the one who's been carrying all of our conversations for the last 10 dates?

Then when you get tired of it all, and stop trying to constantly court them, they start acting bored all the time. They'll just sit there, and wait for your next date suggestion, your next conversation-starter, your next romantic gesture. And when you don't they just start to drift away. Without your contributions, you start to realize that she's done absolutely nothing for you, and every relationship is one-sided with you doing all the work, because her hole is so valuable that she knows she doesn't have need to put in any effort.

Then she starts hanging out with her friends more often, and meets new guys that are willing to work for her, since she's hot, and that's all that matters.

That's why I'm done with relationships. I just fuck them and leave before I put too much time, effort and money into them.
