his last two albums are very raw. they're basically the same. Ruminations is an album with just guitar, piano and harmonica he recorded as a demo for Nonesuch records and they said it was perfect to release that way. Falconer is power/folk metal band formed in 1999. their last album was in 2014, so still pretty new. Although, they won't be doing live shows anymore, just sticking to studio. Here's one of my favorites from the self named album "falconer." Hope someone enjoys it.

Alright, I concede. They're not mainstream, I've just seen many of these bands explode in popularity through streaming services over the past year and that makes me very happy. I'm optimistic about where these guys will go and how they'll shape the medium, even if they do go down the route of countless other bands and eventually lose their capacity for song writing/playing. Their discography will still be out there, and young musicians will still take note.
