Nope - my job doesn't give me anything. I own my own company. I bought myself three 27" thunderbolt monitors -- one for each of my office locations and one for my house. When I upgrade computers, I'll probably by something like the LG 27" 5k monitor. 27" is plenty big for what I do. I'll be sure to call you next time my company needs an expert IT consultant such as yourself. Send me your resume.

When I was still heavily into Ultima Online, I discovered the Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 was the best mouse I had ever experienced for gaming. The scroll wheel was click-less, so when I peeled off the silicone outer layer, I ended up with a totally smooth scroll wheel. I'm still using the very same mouse right here even though I don't game anymore. The various shades of silver paint have rubbed off in different places on it, though. That's one thing I hate about modern, non-white mice: the layers of paint that eventually begin to look like shit, ball up with sweat and dead skin, et cetera.

Not OP but what would you even use the extra buttons on the side and top for? LMB, RMB and scroll/scrollclick is all you need, and is all 99% of games actually supports.

Wireless mouse shitposter aside, those have their uses too. Like when you're watching something on a comfy sofa on the other side of the room and dont wanna move or get up to change it. Wireless mice are fine for non-hectic games too. Only really need the extra response for shit like MOBAs and FPS.

I generally play comfy games that don't even require a mouse so I've never spent more than $5 on a mouse ever. Still using the same $5 mouse I bought over 10 years ago.

As someone who spent close to a hundo on my mouse, let me rattle off my reasons

1) I wanted to
2) I can
3) It has a modular 12 thumb button system so I can configure it to my preferred layout
3a) It also supports custom 3D printed thumb buttons
4) The finger rest is also modular, making it suitable for both palm and claw grip users (at the cost of ambidexterity)
5) There's a small button on left click known as Shift+, and while it is held down, completely changes all the buttons functions for unparalleled keybind options

Pic related
>>
>>729605208
You bind the extra keys to keyboard keys or put macros on them. I've never been interested in the 9+ key ones but having a few keys on your thumb is incredibly useful.
>>
>>729605208
I usually switch one of the macros to the melee attack button in games. Also I set a macro to click rapidly when held which is useful in games like borderlands where guns can fire as fast as you can pull the trigger.
>>
>>729605336
Absolutely agree, it's crazy annoying unless they have the quieter switches. I have a K30 myself which is a mechanical styled membrane. Absolutely loved it so far as a replacement for my old mechanical.
>>
>>729605342
Ah yea, I can see that. I use the same keymaps for nearly every game though if I can and have done for years, if I switched to a mouse like yours it'd take me forever to get used to. I'm too used to L-Ctrl or Z to crouch, Shift to sprint instead.

I play MMO's, it's VERY nice to have a 12 button Naga Chroma mouse. I can now run 2 full 12 key hotbars using just my mouse no keyboard req'd. It was $89 and when it breaks I'll gladly buy another.
>>
>>729605524
Yeh I feel you, I've just always been bad at getting my keyboard fingers to be accurate despite 25 years of keyboard use. My mouse thumb however has no issues with the two buttons, so I switched to that. Those crazy 15 button mice however can go such a dick, absolute neckbeard garbage.
>>
>>729591193
because its just a mouse.
seriously.

>>
>>729591193

Stopped scrolling because my mouse was on my screen
>>
>>729605311
nah.
still better on the chair. you could roll around in it to avoid getting up and you will have a light source anywhere you can roll.

Top fucking kek. All that shit too be proud of completely negated by the flag of a butt hurt losing group of faggots from a previous era.

I've had a dozen different mice over 20+ years of Pc gaming and I know what I like.

Ergonomic fit
Heavy (or adjustable with weights.)
Lot's of buttons, at least 5. Not having a back and forward button is AIDS after you're used to it.
Programmable Buttons and macro support.
Wired Even if tech has advanced to the point where wireless is flawless now you have to charge those fuckers and if I have to plug it in anyway whats the point. Wireless headsets are at least useful so I can chat or hear myself dying when i get up to get food/drinks.

I'll happily pay what's necessary to get what I want and thats usually $50-100 AUD.
You can buy basic mice for a lot less, but If you get a mouse with all the above for <$10 I guarantee you it will fall apart in a matter of months.
>>
For the 30 bucks I spent on this, it has up to 16400 dpi and 12 quick buttons. It's probably the best mouse for it's price available. Will buy new one when it breaks.
>>
>>729592347
you didnt justify or isit because le appele
>>
>>729605988
My main worry about having that many is you fat finger the wrong ones when you need it most. Does that happen?
>>
>>729605905
Heritage bro, I had family in the Confederate Army. Yeah they lost, but thats not the point.
>>
>>729605984
yeah, getting a nerd mouse for less than 10 dollars is what OP was talkin about. right on.
aren't you faggots supposed to be smart?
>>
>>729606057
Not with this one. The buttons are angled so it's hard to hit the one below it. It was my first quick key mouse and it took about 2 weeks to teach myself to use the keys reliably. I has the same worries as you, that's why I had never bought one before, as it stands it is cheap and has made gaming easier for me.

>>
>>729606253

>>
>>729591193
>no back and forward side buttons

Sorry but no you have to spring the extra 10 for proper internet browsing.
>>
>>729606149
Heritage is a bullshit argument. My ancestors were drunk bumbling idiots but I don't go around drinking whisky and behaving like a moron. Fuck your ancestors.
