I break out in razor rash, no matter what. I've tried all the razors, every shaving cream, oils, and yes I shave in the correct direction. Nothing works.

Now i use a "stubble trimmer" that goes down to 0.5 mm. Zero rash, and it actually looks nicer.

If I have an interview, or something of the likes, I have to stand in the shower, hot water, for 20 minutes, then slowly shave. Not worth it.

Get a stubble trimmer, and I'm not talking about an electric shaver.

I don't think they make the model anymore, but if you find any other, it may be better. Make sure it goes to 0.5 mm and is waterproof.

Downside, if you use it out of the shower, you get hair all over the sink. They make a few that have a vacuum though.

Again, don't use electric trimmers if you have sensitive skin. Stubble trimmers are what you need.
