Any lifestyle changes in that time period? Literally anything. IUD or birth control if you're a chick? Antibiotics? You on anything now for it, cause shit like effexor makes you 5 times more likely to kill yourself if you're below 25 years old. There's an assload of things that can cause depression that are relatively simple to fix, and it'd be a real kick to the dick if you off yourself when all you needed was lithium, wellbutrin etc etc.

Figure out why youre SAD and try to alleviate some of it by doing things that make you feel better or fix the problems that make you sad.

Depression is literally just sadness except we ignore the cause and medicate ourselves because "depression just happens'' thats bullshit.

I don't know man. I'm depressed too but I'm too much of a pussy to kill myself. I used to drink and do a lot of drugs but I'm in my mid 30's now and I just can't do that shit anymore. Alcohol just fucks me up too badly physically to continue to function as a normal adult with a job, so I have had to stop doing it. As a result I rarely socialize, and have no idea how to make new friends sober, let alone a girlfriend. On the other hand, I finally decided to go back to school since I dropped out the first time, but while I thought that would make me feel really positive, it hasn't. Even though I'm doing well so far, I still just feel like shit about the future. If I could have my energy level I had in my 20's back again, I'd flush all that other shit straight down the toilet. Partying is the only thing that has ever made me happy. But yeah I've tried to make myself an hero but I just can't bring myself to pull the (literal) trigger. I've tried.

I know how you feel, 4chan has legitimately made me a bit autistic and I have no friends, however I find much comfort in what I'm studying and I try to expand on it and take interest in more things. Try to get interested in new things, try hobbies, just anything that interests you. I know that it is really general advice but that's not the point. The point is the things that you choose to do.

I can't advise you to do drugs but they help me like once every few months, just to give me a fresh perspective.

Depression can sometimes come and go. I had it, felt like you and held on and I just learnt to deal with it. Depression is literally a chemical imbalance in your brain, learn to help that and be generally healthier and you'll feel way better. Don't let some sweaty cuck tell you otherwise.
