It's full of bad game design decisions, terrible game mechanics and immersion breaking gameplay for the sake of convenience.

The latest patch came out this week (fucking months late) and it's just a gimmicky multiplayer that everyone will try, realize it's pointless and go back to playing how they did 2 weeks ago.

I just want a good fucking space game. If No Man's Sky would've been the game we were promised, I'd have dropped Elite like an ugly baby.

Holding out now for Hellion. Star Citizen is a pipe-dream.

Diffrent guy, but I have easily 1500 hours on my main character, plus 300 per character on 7 different characters made for either challenges or rp's. I can see where the haters are coming from, though. ES games are made for you to make fun, and some people don't like that they have to put something meaningful into a game they're playing for fun, but if you really take the time to give yourself a good backstory you can almost get emotionally attached to the point where it feels wrong not to finish the game.
