You people kept asking questions and looking for the origin of everything. You are unable to accept that something must exist instead of nothing. You traced the path of all evidence back as far as you could. You could only come up with the explanation that there was once nothing and then it exploded. You rock chipping monkeys use math tricks to try to figure out why there was a nothing and how it could explode. You are unable to accept the present. You are always trying to look forward and backward at the same time.

According to the theory of biocentrism, reality is shaped by consciousness and not the other way around. Everything we experience is a product of our perception. Instead of consciousness existing in the brain, we are more of a biological antenna designed to embody some sentience from another place.

So who fucking knows how the universe was created man

Let's clarify things, the big bang was NOT the start of the universe. It was the start of the light that lit up the universe. See picture black = the universe, white = the start of the big bang.
With that being said, I suspect the universe has been here for a lot longer than 14billion years and that the leftover particles from the last "light-cycle", or possibly some other particles that are extremely reactive that only appear once the "light-cycle" has ended collided (due to gravity) and created a mass that was extremely volatile, reactive and radioactive. Then something disturbed that mass and it exploded, spewing forth what we call light and a whole new wave of materials birthing what we call life.
Now I'm no scientist, but that's just my general idea on how it may have happened.

The big bang is not just all of the universes matter splurging out into a previously empty void. Space and time themselves become singular at the big bang, there is no before it out outside it. "Before" makes no sense at all when time itself doesn't exist.

It could have been anything, but it isn't something we have any chance of understanding in terms of phenomena we can examine inside the universe.

Because we are dumbfuck humans that can't reach past our moon, we assume that some mystical dark energy is pushing the universe outward and that we must have erupted from a singularity because our shitty understanding of the universe leads to that shitty conclusion. Meanwhile religious fucktards just make up shit and believe whatever their feelings agree with. The reality is that we simply have no idea how shit works much further than our own solar system, and we are still learning more about it as our infantile technology evolves.

So any idiot rehashing shit they read or watched online is more of a fucking moron than the dimwits who make millions off touting it on TV. The whole thing is a scam and honestly we are oblivious. No one alive right now will ever know and by the time our species lineage has come to a half decent answer, we will no longer be considered human.

Time is a very real thing, but our understanding of it is hindered by our limited perception. Things age, things move from point a to point b, but time could be moving in every direction around us. You could exist in every state of being all at once and never be any the wiser.

Simulation theory is getting taken very seriously by the scientific community. The idea that the mind arising from matter following (in some unspecified way we don't have a clue about) the laws of physics is also being questioned in favor of the mind creating the world around it. Both of these things, especially taken together, make a lot more sense of the results of quantum physics and relativity.

If a simulation of this complexity is possible, and there appears to be little reason to think otherwise, then there will likely be far more simulations than "original" realities, especially if you have simulations within simulations and simulations whose internal laws can be different from the outside ones in any number of ways.

Chances of us being in the "original" world are insanely slim. If ours is a simulation, someone made it, and chances are they made it to support life.
>>
>>729184680
Seems that simulation deleted my post. Anyway, it could be that since this simulation would be super hi tec, that same computer could easily calculate every possibility ever, which is why there would be no need for the scientists above to research us. Instead it's more likely that we are experiencing a negative life on purpose

To answer to your question is to find the meaning of life. I.e., why do we hypothetically exist in a computer simulation. The why is the meaning. We would only know why we suffer when the simulation would let us know.

I remember being really into this scientist when I was 19, it was this black guy who actually discovered that the mathematical formula for the universe had an emergency failsafe code within it that is used in most computers, so basically if something catastrophic happened to the universe, it would have already been corrected before anything even happened.

From what we know, everything has to start somewhere.

we don't actually know if the big bang was caused by anything. we don't know if that was the beginning of the universe. we don't know if there even HAD to have been a beginning. All we know is that the big bang likely happened because everything in the universe seems to be spreading away from the same direction at the speed of light

As much as people rely on religion, it has really held us back.
Religious parties would be made obsolete if humans started to figure out the truth and reality of the situation we are in(hypothetically a simulation made by more advanced life), would ultimately collapse the ideology of God, which is why most Churches would rather scientific proof/theories be left out of things.

The way I see it though, is the advanced life technically would be God, or as close as you can get to being God.
One day we will be God, too.

Maybe earth 1 has optimal settings and people there won't age anymore. After this life they'd be like, nice
>>
>>729193795
yeah, it could serve to break up the monotony of living in a post-mortal body. if we were able to live for hundreds of years or more, it might actually be beneficial to our mental health to break that up with a temporary forgetfulness and living of a short lifespan in between.

Eh.. I don't think they will need to come back here. We don't need to go back to school. If we needed to we would be very anxious about that... Just imagine how anxious the afterlife population would be if they had to (a) forget about themselves and be someone else & (b) return to this cesspool

Gets old explaining this again and again...

>Every black hole singularity in our universe contains another universe.

>Our universe is a black hole singularity in an existing universe

>In that universe, every black hole singularity contains a universe.

>any time a star goes supernova to the point of creating a singularity a black hole is formed in that universe (and a "big-bang" happens in a new universe.

Eventually, it loops.

>kys
not sure if bait, but i'll bite.
the big bang was the origin of the universe. There was no "place" before, since all the space-time was compressed on it. It was the expansion of the space frontiers. The universe is not infinite and it is growing. This growth started at the big bang.
It also makes no sense to ask where the big bang was, because everywhere was in the big bang. As space and time are the same thing (thanks Einstein), it also makes no sense to ask what was before the big bang, since it was the begining of time itself, as it was the beginig of space

Big pods filled with humans in some weird red liquid that give us just enough nutrients to live, in a machine world controlled by machines and only machines.

the only "true" answer is in this thread...
>>
>>729194442
That's a cute theory and all but do you have any evidence to support that?
>>
>>729194237
perhaps it's a screening process. if we live in a post-mortal world, we may not inhabit biological bodies, or at least not the kind we do here. like eugenics, but with consciousness. nobody is allowed to inhabit a physical body unless they are able to pass certain tests which show that they will not be a destructive influence within the group. hence, cycles of reincarnation in a simulated reality where learning can ocurr safely without damage to the outside world.

>>729179269
Big bang wasn't an explosion out of nothing. It was the expansion of the universe from a singularity.
>>
>>729183479
this ultimately

>>729194701
>not be a destructive influence within the group
In that case why not just make us obedient? If that's what the ones running the simulation want? They'd certainly possess the necessary technology to make us anything they'd desire. I think that the point of this simulation is not to shape our consciousness but to make us go through the earth experience just for experience's sake. Not sure why they would want us to have this experience, though.

The background radiation is evidence for the big bang. It isn't evidence for universes existing within singularities.

i was visited once and they told me that theres a higher species that controls everything. theres only 9 of theses entities.and they control everything including us.

I can't believe that in 2017 religion still exists...
After so many years of evolving, there's still some retards who think there's someone "up there".
Muslims are the leaders when it comes to being fucking stupid.

The cosmological expansion did not need a cause. It was already that way.

Well, the way the earth rotates around the sun and is slowly drifting away with every revolution, just like that but waaaaaaaaaayyyyy faster and with a lot more shit.

the way OP rotates around girls and is slowly drifting away from the possibility of getting laid with every revolution
>>
>>729196698
Fuck you "don't count on it"
it happened bitch
it's just when there's a lot more shit and it's all compacted into a tiny space, there's magnetic forces at work among the shit that in there along with all kinds of other natural forces so when it became the perfect storm the shit just bounced the fuck away from each other and created the universe

That's not true, you can never drift away from that. There's women that fuck horses so...I mean....you always have a shot. It's just....not always the one you're gonna want.

>There was no "place" before
Oh really? You were there before time and saw that there was no time?
Oh, wait, no you weren't.

We have no information on the "outside" of the universe, what I would call the current "light-cycle". You don't know what's out there NO ONE does. You simply cannot say, "I don't know what's there, therefore nothing is there" that's just fucking ignorant.
We don't KNOW what was before the big bang. we have ideas. Some of which are backed with mathematical "evidence", as it were.
You're literally no better than the theists who say "I don't know what dun it, so god dun it" except you're saying "I don't know what is there, so therefore nothing is there"
You say I'm wrong about this or that, but where do you get the knowledge that what you say is factual? You're taking something someone else says as fact and saying this is the only way it can be.
Just convert to theism, you'd do really well there with that fucked up mentality.

Some advanced race.
The universe is a Mobius Strip, starting with some advanced race that goes back in time to start the universe, which then produces the advanced race that will go back in time.
