This game was so good. I could only play the beginning, where you're in some castle and it starts to get destroyed/burn.

The physics were good and the graphics too. The only thing was that my graphics card was not good enough to run it smoothly... so I said to myself "in a few years, I'll buy a new rig and play that game".....

11 years later, I have my good rig, but I suffer from clinical depression... and lost interest in everything I used to enjoy. And even if I didn't have depression, the game would look too old.

Back in the days, my family was really poor, because we had arrived in Canada like 6-7 years ago. The diplomas of my parents were rejected because they were from a non-english/french speaking country, so they had to study again AND work in restaurants and other shitty jobs, to feed me and my brother.

My uncle was already in Canada for some time and he had a really good job for ATI. He built us a good computer back then and gave me Duke Nukem 3D and Wolfenstein 3D, which I played a lot.

Then I saw that there were games with better graphics out there... like half-life, quake 3, max-payne, etc. But I there was NO WAY my mom would buy me a game, because food and savings was a priority.

When I found out about SoF 2, I just couldn't stop begging her. I wanted that game so bad, because you could chop people with a knife and it was really gore. So, I begged her for MONTHS and MONTHS.

Then, when it was my birthday, she said "ok, but that's all you'll get for the next X number of years". I was SO FUCKING HAPPY when I got the game. It was like 27 CAD and it was REALLY a big expense for my family back then. And it was the first game my mom bought me.

I played it EVERY day for YEARS. Both single player and multiplayer. My school was actually across the street, so I would go eat at home and play some matches online.

This game gives me SO MUCH feels, you can't even imagine. I've spent so much time playing it. I still remember the sounds and music from the menu... and the loading screen when playing online... with the "awaiting gamestate".

I really hope the game somehow gets on Steam, so people would start playing it again. The graphics are still good in my opinion. And the multiplayer is just next level.
