i was thinking about commissioning an artist to do a rough sketch but i seriously dont know anyone who would be willing, but i do know what they would look like and how they would act.

picture this, one of those shaved cats in the shape of a fluffy with a puffy griffin beak, grey scale like skin and missing bits of itself (wings, broken undeveloped horn, tiny leg etc) a total defect.

their attributes would be enhanced, they breed and mature faster, die sooner (shelf life of about a month max) theyre faster than fluffies, smarter (once again in groups only) than fluffies, more fragile than a fluffy, but they would be the opposite of a fluffy, a super predator.

thats what i had envisioned for those little bastards.

What often is most lacking in fluffy is nuance.
How about a focus on fluffy emotion and naivety that can be exploited by a predator amongst their mids. Consider their need for harmony, their overbearing wish for group cohesion and their inability to properly conceive evil.
Granted we have seen the cannibal, but I think we haven't seen it done with an emphatic mind for the detail of fluffy psyche.

Of course I have now tossed aside the hivemind because I frankly don't like it.

i was trying to come up with some other way of communication between them, but i went with hivemind because it felt "simple" a telepathic way of communication.
