The phone itself is actually pretty good. The screen protector is what has some damage, but not the actual screen. I'm using an extended battery though, and the cover for that is all cracked up and falling apart. Fortunately I have a plastic car around that to keep it together.

If it's by samsung you might need a program for Windows called Odin. You download that, check TWRP if they have your phone version, it should be a .tar or .tar.md5 file and from there you put your phone in download mode (pwr+vol up+home button when the phone is off). Then connect your phone and it should show up in Odin. From there you hit flash AP and select the tar file.

It should flash TWRP on it

I would recommend staying away from kingroot and do it like this:

Asus Zenfone 3 Max. I'll never buy a phone for more than 300 dollars again. As much as I love tech, most cellphone features are worthless IRL. This one does everything I want it to do with a huge ass battery.

Lg v20 user here. Still stock, haven't found a reason yet to mod. Space has yet to become an issue, the new charger charges in like... An hour, and the battery holds well still. bought after Christmas. Beware the camera glass shatters easy. Look it up.
