No, no real point unless you need it for boxes or something. If you use one in self defense in any case the law will fuck you, even if you weren't the aggressor. I carry a crkt m16 daily, i just like the thick edge behind the blade for your daily tasks. Sometimes a ganzo 7392 for the thick blade, and sometimes a kershaw leek for the fine tip.
I just got the new carbon fiber cpm154 kershaw leek but it hasn't arrived yet. It'll be my first nice knife purchase.
