There are password crackers designed for zip. Typically, you need a word list for a dictionary attack. Download the top 1000 passwords and run it through a cracker designed for zip. Someone else will need to suggest one, as I usually use kali for this stuff and I remember you're on windows. Maybe offensive security has some tips, but they're usually all about using kali too. Maybe the windows version of Cain & Abel will have something. There are also bruteforce crackers, but they tend to take longer. There also may be exploits in zip files, and since she's on windows, I doubt she's tech savvy enough to use strong encryption.
