Isn't there a sort of moral obligation to save those from impending death in countries like Syria, and give them the opportunity to live a life in America? I know this can be very debated but it is something to consider. Also, for whatever its worth, there is opportunity for retaining some refugees who have innovative minds or bright futures and if they stay in the US it will be a benefit.

The biggest effect is, it intellectually impoverishes the country refugees flee from, when all the smart and good and kind people leave, keeping those countries doomed to ruin. Countries need their good and intelligent people to revolt and take power, and rebuild them as better countries. Lest they stay permanent hot spots of war and chaos forevermore.

First off, people always seem to forget that these refugees dont have any choice. These people are literally countryless/ homesless, adrift in the world. So when people get mad at the refugees trying to get in this country try and think how would you feel if you were forced out of your country, out of your home with nothing but what you can carry, if you are lucky enough to have any possessions in the first place.

Second, this does nothing but improve our relations with the countries that are actively trying to fight Islamic terrorist. Groups like Isis are the same as the KKK and Nazi's are to christianity. If we let Muslims refugees into our country instead of calling them terrorist every five seconds Muslims in these fighting countries may look to us as friends instead of using sound bites by President Trump saying we should have takin the oil to use to recruit for the terrorist.
