>>727569441
But you use jpeg too!
Since a week ago I don't seem to enjoy things as I used to. Everything I do seems bland and dull.... fuck I can't even explain it. Everything I do with friends or when I do something good, or when I get a reward I just don't feel it anymore. I don't feel that excitement, the energy, happiness from those things. It's not boring it's just that it's so...gray? I have no idea what is happening, can you help me? Has this ever happened to you? Is something wrong with me? Please. I want it to end.
Bye for now!

Ageing or depression, or both
>>727569967
L8r
>>727569874
sounds like depression
you can try getting regular excersise
or improving your diet
or you can just find a drug you like, like most people - coffee, alcohol, and weed are some popular choices
>>727569874
>you can just find a drug you like
The worst idea. Cloaking a problem doeskn't make it go away
>>727570238
Ageing is probably not since it was all good 1/2 weeks ago and I'm not that old. But I don't know about depression. I mean I didn't experience something that would make me depressed (at least I think that's how depression works). It just happened all of a sudden.
>>727570818
if the problem is neurotransmitter deficiency, there are a whole host of drugs which solve that problem directly at the source in the brain. Now, if he has actual issues in his life that are causing the depression, fixing those is preferable.
>>727570887
>It just happened all of a sudden
Depression actually can work just like that. Butt then there's also a condition/phenomena called Dysthymia, where you just suddenly feel sad/depressed fur an undefined period
>>727571196
That is the problem, I don't have much issues in life so I don't know why is this happening.
>>727570887
>>727571418
Are you insured? If so, see a professional mental healthcare provider - they can help you decide on a course of action, be it prescription drugs or therapy.
if you're uninsured, exercise, communicating with available support groups (friends/family) and a low harm drug of choice are your best bets
>>727571196
In good psychiatry, just a simple depression iskn't considered a mental disorder that needs medical attention. Simple depression meaning the patient doeskn't exhibit psychosis or thoughts and/or self-harming behaviour
>actual issues in his life
>neurotransmitter deficiency
Only 'murrica was this quick to draw these conclusions

There used to be an anon who was obsessed with this character. Anybody got more?
>>727568945
I'd go gay for Falco.
>>727571733
I was thinking about visiting a therapist, but my parents always bug in and say how it's like a waste of time and that I probably don't need a therapist because it's probably nothing.

not everyone has the same brain chemistry, some people unfortunately do not produce amounts of serotonin, epinephrine, or dopamine which are consistent with having a 'normal' mood
While CBT and other therapeutic treatments can be very effective, they can also be costly and time-consuming - not everyone can dedicate the time or money that these avenues require, and thus may prefer pharmaceutical intervention.
>>727572508
it's your mind and well-being, ultimately you need to make the judgement call on if you need some help or not

thanks for this nice furry friday evening!
have a nice day/evening/night

>some people unfortunately do not produce amounts of serotonin, epinephrine, or dopamine
Butt such a drop practically -overnight- doeskn't sound realistic. You'd be able to trace it back further than just the past week.
Unless you had come up w/ a sudden physical disease or smth
>CBT and other therapeutic treatments can be very effective
Basically the only proper treatment fur depression. Meds are a nuclear bomb fur the mind. You want to stop feeling certain feelings, knot all and every single one of them! You cakn't find the reason fur what's depressing you if you just go and crawl under a pill-shaped blanket
>>727574024
G'niteynite
>>727574062
depression and other mental disorders don't require a "reason" and symptoms can often develop or appear suddenly. Nothing specific has to happen to a person in order to make them depressed, other than an unfortunate combination of genetics and subtle epigenetic/environmental/pathogenic/dietary factors
>>727574481
>don't require a "reason"
>unfortunate combination of genetics and subtle epigenetic/environmental/pathogenic/dietary factors
Otherwise you're just describing Dysthymia, knot depression
Bakers? There's a bread elsewhere butt OP failed
okie
>>727575199
>>727574697
really I was referring to chronic depression, which is the only kind that actually requires treatment, as normal depressive episodes tend to resolve themselves
