They have refused to switch over, and until they do standard will be the commn everyday system. Try it at home and see. Stick to whole point-sizes for text from 8pt up to 12pt and the display sizes of 14pt, 18pt, 24pt, 30pt, 36pt, 48pt, and 60pt. You'll get ideal proportions everywhere.

The scale was later revised by discarding the 0° F set point and defining the freezing point of water to be exactly 32° F, and boiling point to be exactly 180° beyond that (32 + 180 = 212).
