Canonically, Hulk or Odin or Thor can and do both spank his ass, thor usually needs a bit of time but ultimately he's spanked frequently. Others that could do it easily include Doctor Strange, Captain Britannia, Captain Marvel, Blackbolt, anyone with a "no upper power limit" really and any true immortal because then it turns into a war of attrition, and thanos is neither ageless nor immune to being worn down.

Outside of Marvel, the list is ENDLESS

He's mid tier at best, The gauntlet is the source of power but is both Counterable with technology never mind magic and his ego is too vast and his incompetency too great for him to use it at even half potential.

The only reason he's as large a threat in the setting is BECAUSE he has that army and is a threat to multiple worlds at once, as opposed to being a Lesser Dr Doom whom has frequently created objects of equal and greater power to the Infinity Gauntlet AND made himself armour that literally laughs at anything Thanos can throw at it.

Thanos is not all powerful, and he's too dumb to use his tools. only reason he's gotten as far as he has is because he functionally ambushed his home species with their best technology and has been coasting on the army/resources he aquired from it.
