A perfect album from start to end.
Best Coheed album from front to back, not their best tracks individually though.
Please somebody know them.
Me too, good old day's right comrade? Now be careful now you might hurt yourself on your edginess.
I'm not the one still listening to Coheed and Cambria.
Well, your tastes are bad. Travis barker is a mediocre drummer at best. The aquabats were shit, and ska is shit. Anytime blink 182 plays their old tracks with Travis on drums it just sounds clunky.
Enema of the state was the BEGINNING of their decline, that's all I'm saying g.
Have they made anything decent since?
Don't you fags lie , I know you know all the lyrics.
That's funny, I just listened to that
this may actually be the comfiest album of all time
listen to Sacrifice first and then Contra or speech cobras.
i honestly prefer pic related. dark side is way overrated, but in the same sense that its the most available album to get and listen to while also being the most iconic. not their best tho i would have to say that their earlier stuff is better musically speaking
When music trends come along and bands start trying their hardest to keep up with the times... Radiohead lets us know where music should be headed, and makes us ashamed that we hadn't seen it before. Compared to the utter shit posted in this thread, it's the goddamn messiah of bands
These are also solid gold..
THIS BABY RIGHT HERE! CRINGEY BUT FUNNY AS FUCK. A TRUE GEM!
this is so catchy I literally can't stop listening to it help me pls
>not being brainwashed into thinking that clicks and whistles set to 2nd grade reading level lyrics with a "visual album" is god teir makes me out of touch.
If that's the case, I'll remain out of touch you fucking philistine.
"Come in here, dear boy, have a cigar
You're gonna go far, you're gonna fly
You're never gonna die
You're gonna make it if you try
They're gonna love you
Well I've always had a deep respect
And I mean that most sincere
The band is just fantastic
That is really what I think
Oh by the way, which one's pink?"
Sad no one has mentioned any Led Zepp album yet
>>726666266 is just a band picture
Just to set the record straight, I have a copy of the original vinyl.
These are some of my favorites, r8 'em.
My nigga. I love almost all of their albums
still convinced that song was about STDs
Highly unlikely anyone even heard this one but it's fucking great and I highly recommend it
literally one of the most unique artists out there right now.
Hybrid theory is a classic album that didn't age well, but meteora is, in my opinion, a classic. Fucking amazing. A thousand suns was their last good project - which in itself was a great album.
and yet, I bet you're a fucking oasis fan
and now the trinity is complete.
talk about going out on a high note
best album released last year. Perfect from start to finish.
yeezy the goat, for real.
not the best yeezy album, but not as bad as people make it out to be.
nah, shit's bad
definitely one of the better rap albums made this decade. TPAB is better imo sonically but this is a masterpiece too.
this album really shines on psychadelic drugs
edgy but fucking great
its nice to see actual cudi again but other than by design this album sucks
those fucking quints + dubs
but yeah, frank ocean is fucking awful and overrated. He's got a nice voice but his music is fucking garbage.
Not their best album.
agreed. Nothing quite like good thugger
Listen again...rubber soul onwards as that's when they experimented with drugs..they laid down the backbone of melody and harmony that exists today...it's music history...you can't deny it
i hope its a good gig anon
Best rap artists is hardly a category to be proud of in the music world. Rap music is on the same level as pop and country music.. Great for making money and selling products for their sponsors.
their transition from typical boy band to serious musical pioneers is what made me respect the beatles. Magical Mystery Tour is probably my favorite album from start to finish but revolver and sgt peppers stand out as well.
Do you not understand that people have different tastes in music? Stop getting so butthurt. I just don't like them.. there's nothing you can say to change that. Their music sounds like pussy old style pop music. I prefer rock music.
How on earth would you think namedropping any of those fucking people would justify your claim?
Next your gonna start telling me how transcendent Katy perry was in "I kissed a girl"
Yes I understand that...but you also have to understand music in general...they are highly influential...and I can guarantee that any of you favorite rock bands would say they grew up on the beatles
Maybe because their music had serious cultural impact and explores heavily unique rhyme and rhythm? If you want to compare a tribe called quest to katy perry that's fine - keep living in your delusion.
I'm big into hip hop and even love the new rap scene that's cropped up in the last few years. Lil Boat was a great mixtape but he's really devolved into some shitty tracks in the last year or so. Hoping his debut album is strong.
>complains about the list
>doesn't make his own
gr8 b8 m8
Nothing about their lyrics or rhythms is unique. Rhyming 2 syllable words with 2 syllable words it's basic fucking knowledge. Also, having another person produce a 3/4 rhythm for the song isn't unique or revolutionary..
And trust me, they've had no cultural impact.. or at least no more than Beyoncé had with "single ladies"
No one ever posts this cause it can only be appreciated and loved for its perfect craft once the listener ascends to being a true intellect.
Fuck yea. I remember listening to these guys in 2008 when nobody knew who they were. Nice to see they're getting recognition now. It's funny but I almost never hear them anywhere in New York City, and then when I go to the west coast I'll hear them in a bar or restaurant every now and then.
True, piper at the gates of dawn, meddle, and dsotm are all very close behind. Still haven't listened final cut, which I hear is good.
