>>726633569 (the app development guy here) FYI i creampie my girlfriend who lives with me like 5-7 nights a week. plus every saturday and sunday morning. no need to have anything to do with my parents.
>>726632779 25/hr with benefits and as much over time as I want. And they don't fuck me on the over time. If it is either over 8 in a day or 40 in a week they do it. Worked two days last week for 14 hrs with 3 as over time. This is the first place I've worked that I didn't have to be a bitch about that to get it corrected.
dude my dad was an executive at a national construction company for like 30 years, i wish he told me how great the labor world was before i got into IT. fucking elevator operators on construction sites are making like $70k to push a button AND charging you $5 for a water bottle on a 105 degree day.
>>726633569 Enjoy it while it lasts. They're gunna either kick you out and write you out of their will, or they'll die one day, then you'll be too old and unqualified to get a job and no-one'll let you rent a room because no landlord wants a jobless bum.
>Been at it about a year + >never have boss again >best month 8k so far >worst month happening right now, lost several contracts at once that seemed solid and were high paying >have to help family pay their rent this month >7 days to come up with $800 >doable, but fuck
>>726633744 Same here I also operate heavy equipment. Make $32.85 an hour, but OT is limited to 20 hours because of DOT regs. But some my OT is double time for holidays. Non-union hack so I get company stock that I get to cash out on retiring. Almost near retirement which is fine by me. Life is good. Problem is finding many in this generation that will actually work. I have tried to train like 10 people over the last year, and when they actually have to work they quit. Then I bet they are complaining there are no jobs out there.
>>726635055 Yeah because working with an easy to manipulate, user-ready platform and making 130k/year isn't as good as not having a job. Truth is, it doesn't take much to make clients happy with SharePoint. The problems stem from poor administration and giving users too much freedom. The environment is only as good as the person who set it up. If you've had issues with it in the past, your admin didn't know what the fuck they were doing when they put it together.
>>726636080 "wendy's chef" = "subway sandwich artist" By all means use your corporate lingo. Jesus, I know how that is. I work for fucking Whole Foods. But don't go around telling people your dad was a "chef," because you'll be wrong and people will get the wrong idea.
>>726636109 It is a fucking CMS that needs a shit ton of hardware to fucking run even a modest number is user. I manage a real CMS for over 5000 users do 3TB of data a month on a single sever with 12 GB or ram. So yeah I would not take your job. and my base is higher then your salary and I get bonuses. Last time I was out of work all of 12 hours before I had a new job. So yes I would rather be unemployed and take the next gig then run that steaming pile of shit.
>>726636434 When I first got into the concretepumping industry, it was bring my weeks clothes with me, finish the day shower, sleep in motel room for 5 nights, go home on Saturday. Then the Feds screwed that up by restricting hours. I did it for a year, and figured that if I did that for 5 years I could have semi-retired, and gone down to a 20 hour work week. Also had major bonuses, because I would work those kinds of hours, and customers loved me. In the pump industry if you make the customers love you, you get what you want pay wise. Also you can work anywhere in the world.
>>726636886 i actually work from home, and i do not take calls. i only handle internal issues related to applications we have developed. cant really go too far into detail on what i support for obvious reasons if you have a similar job.
30 cash and going,Electrician, all i do all day is telling the guys what they gonna do and then inspect if they did it right, we work like 5 hours at day since we grab one or more for lunch and we get to the job at like 6:45am when we should be at 6:00am and go at loke 1:10 or watever, life its good, learn a trade instead of become a cubicle monkey.
Sadly I only get like one or two jobs like that a month. Sometimes none. In fact just today I was closing on a video gig for a client, when they come back and essentially tell me they don't need me anymore because their friend is going to do it for free (about 1500 dollar job)
feelsbadman how the fuck do I pay my bills when some nigger is out there being literally worse than a wagecuck
>>726635420 Things like mixing the chili not just as a job, but with passion and love for the culinary arts. Things like tasting what you create. Adjusting as required. Consistency. Discarding what doesn't meet standards. Running a clean, efficient kitchen. Proper labeling and food storage. Proper food sourcing and inspection on delivery.
I doubt you know what I'm talking about, so you wouldn't meet Wendy's standards.
>>726637360 Bruh I didn't finish college even. I just had experience prior to running my CNC with mills and lathes as a kid. But also my company pays us dick. Cell leads make $18. Water jet operator makes $14. Life blows for most of em
>>726638206 Why would I pay a union to make scale when I make more than? Also I do not need a union to represent me I can do that while not supporting some fat bastards that support people in politics I do not agree with. Unions are like dealing with government, they take your money, and screw you over, and expect you to thank them for doing it. I work for a family corporation, and am treated like family. The union hacks in the company are not.
I'm a lot happier making $26/hr than $13/hr. General consensus in the research is money stops mattering around $40... That seems about right to me because if I made double what I do now I wouldn't worry about money at all. And I live in a VERY high cost of living area too so it would be even more money in many other places than it is here.
Anywhere between $800-$1500 per day. I have made as little as $200 and as much as $2600 in one day. I average $30k per month. I work about 5 hours a week. I work online in marketing and I have found something that is banking money and has been for 5 years now.... untill I tell one of you fags and it's all over.
>>726638179 Im going for a CAD CAM certificate. I lucked out my current job ( a high performance parts warehouse) is paying for it even though it has nothing to do with my job. I make about 18.50 after you factor in commision. The family that owns the company is cool but I cant stand the people Im under.
My raises are basically a fuck you thanks for making us millions. A friend works at Magna (an OE auto prototyper) as an operator and makes about what I do but all hourly
I work a ton of OT but its only 1.5 times hourly so its still under 20.
I can get in where he works and in 3 years be making probably 10k a year more than I do now, Id just have to buckle down for a few years and take a pretty big hit for atleast 2.
>>726638595 Yeah I work at Neenah Foundry. You will see the manhole covers all over. Different baragaining contract. In the surrounding area we are kinda in the middle of the pay range per hour but we make way more since we have to work 6-7 days. Productions runs 22-23 hours a day 5-6 days a week. Our repair days are the following day they stop production. So I am here every single saturday. During my shift we cant do much since everything is running. We wait for a break down or find little shit to do. Or browse /b/ like I am doing now lol
>>726632779 Fast food worker at a local Mcdonald's making 8.50/hr.
Full time student at community college getting my associates in science (engineering). Once I get that degree the fucking sky opens. I can take the 2-year and become a tech somewhere making $20+ an hour. I can also go on and get my electrical engineering degree and make 50-100k at some engineering firm, become an IT guy, or work as a software dev.
Advice I got: Do not get an art degree if you don't have artistic talent or if you're not becoming a programmer. If you have a high GPA (4.0+) and dedication, become a doctor. If you don't want to do a trade, science and math degrees will get you a job anywhere. Trades are the fastest way to getting well paid jobs and they get paid good.
>>726637562 I doubt this guy is making this much but my step-mom works in application development shit and makes 48/hr so even if she were just making spreadsheets, (though being IT, I assume it's more sitting around waiting for shit to break) that's not too bad.
>>726638592 You start as an oiler in the crane, and concrete pump industry. You need to get a CDL first though as you have to drive vehicles over 25K in weight. For cranes it is starting as a rigger, and then getting trained on operating. You also need to be a signal man as well. This is so you know what rigging you use. Concrete pumps is just learning how to operate it, and the setups. It is way harder than people think when they look at it. Most of the time it is like watching the grass grow, but if you have a bad day pumping you are not making enough. Then there are system jobs where you have to add hoses to get the mud where the boom will not reach. That is real work. But all in all it is good work.
>>726639400 Yeah I guess. I pretty much hang out with my gf of almost 4 years. Might ask her to marry me but im gunshow of divorce. A lot of the other mechanics here have been divorced already. I have been working here for over 3 years now. How long have you been at Ford?
>>726639079 Well I never see any in my work, and I am professional enough to not insult someone. So go figure you need a union to stay working. The whole concrete industry is full of illegals too. So it is not as if I am not tempted to say something. Especially when they act like they no si habla.
>>726638982 I don't really need to prove it but I do. I'd be on 4chan fapping to peoples girlfriends even if I made 2 billion and became president. I have a hot gf and manage to fap and nail her every night. I travel and have been to 75 countries roughly. All I need is internet to check clicks/sales etc etc. Before this I made $80k per year as a programmer in LA starting in 2008.
>>726639563 Eh I dont feel bad her making more than me, shes been to college, I dont even have my grade 12 still. If I stay in this job for 2 years my raise will have me equal just about her pay. But Im working on learning a trade.
And about assignments, basically cause we're very heavily unionized our workload is so low and varied due to complainers it would say something like (9:00 - Gaming Floor) which would just be maintain gaming of garbage and push in chairs, then like (9:30 - T4 Epoxy) where youd take the big floor cleaner out on all the epoxy flooring in the casino.
>>726639616 Gay male? Are you attractive enough that women pay for the D?
>>726639663 I'm almost done with my degree and I'm planning to transfer anyways. I already have job offers once I get it, it's just a matter of settling or going all the way. I'm also 5'11" and 125LBs, security won't take me and neither will the army. I'm almost Mr. Skeltal.
>>726639727 Bach of Science in Electrical Engineering. Plan B is to get my TESL cert. (teaching english as a second language) and going abroad.
>>726640032 I mean setting up a data feed from ANY wholesaler isnt hard if indeed this is a programmer he could do it himself for free. Sell on Amazon eBay Walmart etc.. any place with a marketplace. API type sales, can also integrate his own website.
Basically you can be abasement dweller, use the warehouse(s) as your own inventory (most warehouses in this type of sale have a data feed with images and descriptions as well) Its all automoated. Joe Blow buys the piece off amazon or wherever his address goes to the seller, the seller (usually automatically again) sends the info to the warehouse and the order is filled. He lets the money roll in, If hes good at keeping at or below MAP (and not getting caught) he can be a go to place. Especially if he has a little product knowledge etc.
>>726639847 Living poor does not mean not investing. It means not spending money on stupid garbage like that 100inch 4K TV, and other meaningless crap. My only frivolous things were photography equipment, and astronomy gear. I invested in property to live in, rentals, and have acreage for development in places that are growing. It is all paid off too. Now I can buy what I want, but I had to live like I wasn't making a thing to get here. Spend smart.
>>726640709 No There is a test called exam 473 Military get a 10 point lead on it passing is like 70 Highest you can score is 85 plus 10 if military plus 5 if disabled. We need people all the time constantly short on substitute carriers both city side and rural side. Starting pay is like 17.50 or so
You guys all sound poor and relatively stupid. I am by far the highest earner here. Should I even tell you how much I make just so you can be jealous? No, that would be cruel. But, I will anyway. I make approximately 1 million dollars every minute of the day. That is 60 million per hour for those of you who cannot do simple math. I work 23 hours a day because my brain is so active I only need 1 hour of rest. That is 1 billion one hundred and eighty million dollars per day that I make. You don't even want to know how much that is in a year. Your poor people calculators wouldn't even be able to fit that number on their tiny screen. I have an extremely large penis and every morning before breakfast women line up to suck upon it. At lunch I also have many women sucking my penis. My IQ is not measurable by human standards. I am so wealthy, handsome and smart that God himself would suck my penis. Why am I here on 4chan? Because I masturbate constantly while I'm making money. My life is awesome
