I was brought into the camp at a young age, as were my sisters (the youngest in the photograph was born there).

I never met the person who initiated my camp, but we were told stories about him and his intentions. He was a naturalist and a nonconformist who wanted to escape modern society.

I am not sure whether he was also financially responsible for the land, but I would imagine so.

My parents told me they met him, but he left before I was old enough to remember him.
