It's a great state, lots of variations in local geology due to the cascade mountain range, Columbia river basalts and the Boring lava flows out east. Plus we have pretty active bioproduction on the west coast since we get cold, nutrient rich, deep ocean waters coming in. There's a lot to take in, would definitely recommend checking it out at the very least.
