I just started growing myself, how long did you veg it for? And did you use any nutrients? Im using foxfarms ocean mix and I hear its pretty "hot" as in it can cause burning on its own, so im hesitant to put anything else into it

it's worth looking into ScrOG as well imo. I've heard people say it's too complicated for a beginner, but I started on about my third grow and find it easier to keep on top of. Also scrogging seems to make every bud think it's a top bud.

I find it pretty easy to maintain. I mix the food in watering cans then use a jug to water the pots. I "lollipop" them when they go under the screen, leaving 4 or 5 branches at the top, then keep inching off anything that's not going to reach the screen. Once the screen is full not much light gets through the canopy so not much grows underneath.

my plant recently got thrips and its the first time I had a infestation of insects in my grow but I grew 3 times before but I think I found them early on because you cannot see them with the naked eye I had to use a x60 jewelers loop just to barley see the little fuckers.

The mate that helped me set up grew some grapefruit a few years ago and it was amazing. Smelled and tasted exactly like grapefruit. Best named buds I've ever smoked. The super iced grapefruit I grew was grapefruit crossed with Ice, making it much frostier than the straight grapefruit.
