I started playing this a few days ago. Can't believe I never played this jewel. Also, probably agree with everything on your list. Except perhaps GTA.

Issue is, first half of the game you have to walk a lot. Like the Regalia in FFXV. And just like FFXV, there are a shit ton of side quests to do. It has some minor issues with movement.

But it's a Yokotaro, Platinum Games, and Square Enix game. The soundtrack is fucking amazing for every single area, even better than the original Nier. Fighting is on point, Platinum at its best. The story is also top notch, specially with everything that the side quests unfod. And there are fucking 26 endings (5 main, 21 for shits and giggles).

Better than BoTW for sure, a strong GoTY contender.

Especially not considering terminator running is super fast.
I like the OST but its not as good as the original - especially not due to the several derivative/remixes, and the fact that its simply not as big. Though my biggest gripe with the OST is that you almost never get the proper vocal tracks in zones when doing sidequests, its super fucking annoying.

I don't like this nearly as much as the first one, and I'm not even really sure why. It seems to be objectively better in a lot of ways, but it just doesn't have the same magic about it that DS1 does. It isn't nostalgia in my case, because I only just finished DS1 a few months ago, so I dunno, can't put a finger on it. Definitely better than DS2 though. DS2 feels like you're playing DS1 underwater. The character control is just hideous.
