The thing is that women don't have to put in any effort in online dating because they have literally hundreds of dudes to choose from. You have to make your conversation stand out from the rest, which if you're attractive is easier because everything you say is sooooo much more interesting. Last experience is with my current girlfriend. She's sweet, pretty, and we get along great, been dating over a year. I could honestly see getting married to her one day. Her family is awesome and we come from similar backgrounds.

So yeah, Tinder isn't perfect but it has worked for me because I literally have no other options. Keep in mind I'm 27 and have only been on 3 dates in my life, all three of which came from this app so it's not like I'm a shining example of how a guy should go about dating.
