Good advice, there is some pretty good wine that you can get for significantly cheaper if you do your research. You can also get prosecco in place of champagne because it's way cheaper but basically the same thing.

The best wine I've had has usually been in or around that price range but I've had some really good stuff around $15 a bottle. There are all kinds of Internet resources to find good cheaper stuff. I just usually go for beer (craft beer specifically) and then liquor less frequently.

Sounds like me a few years ago. I got really heavily into bourbon and rye. Buffalo trace, Elijah craig, Woodford Reserve, even Wild Turkey 101 are all great starter bourbons that are readily available.

Understandable. I personally prefer to think of it as a liquor solution, rather than a liquor problem.

I usually stick to beer because it slows down the rate I get drunk pretty significantly but I've developed a tolerance over the past few weeks and liquor is a bit cheaper now.

I'm 23 currently. My current drinking habits aren't really acceptable now that I've graduated college I suppose.

I use to like stouts and porters predominantly but I'm a bit more diverse now. It's hard to put down more than a six pack of dark stuff anyways. Lately I've been drinking IPAs but my favorite kind of beer lately are probably saisons/farmhouse style ales and sours. Belgian style ales are nice too.

I also drink a fair amount of gin when I feel like mixing it up.

If I'm out with my flock I usually end up drinking Rainier and pbr just because it's too expensive to put down 18 bottles of something decent and liquor will get me drunk too quickly.

I'm drinking Bulleit bourbon and Cock & Bull diet ginger beer. As good as any with sugar I've tried, which I'm trying to avoid.

I just poured a couple sips from my bottle with less than 1/4 left. The best burbon I've tried in its price point by far and I haven't been able to find a bottle in southern California in years. Can you still get it? If so, is it still in the mid $30s or is it now super expensive?
