If only it's humor was as on point as it's music and aesthetic. I'd love to see that style used on a more serious like a "Big O" type noir
>>724376045

born in 1970, 80' s was my teen years.
fuck, i miss the 80's.
the 80's was possibly the best decade EVER.
wasn't lame like the 70's and their fucking disco.
was awesome cause it was 3 music forms colliding and competing for the kids.
first was preppy music, like duran duran and that shit. It went the way of the dinosaur by 85
around 82 heavy metal was creeping in, and really became popular in 83 (i saw the invention of MTV) when heavy metal started playing in 83 on MTV that was it. prep music started to die, and heavy metal was in.
Then by 86-88 rap music was coming into it's own. funky cold medina and music like that. it displaced alot of teens who did not like heavy metal but had no choice. By 1989 heavy metal music was so complicated to play. because the level of skill needed to be as good as the next guy was out of the reach of everyone, but 30+ year old musicians or kids who were like mozart for metal.
then by 89, grunge started to creep in. By 1990. grunge replaced heavy metal. heavy metal was dead by 94. and grunge took its' place. And it was becuase anyone could play grunge music.
there, history lesson for you all born after 1989.
>>724377926
I agree, the 80's was the best decade ever
"In any case, write what you know will always be excellent advice to those who ought not to write at all."
>>724377926
I was born in 88 so I didn't get that stuff. Only thing I got was that your dumbass jeans had to still be up to your belly button in the early/mid 90's and the shit tier style of the 90's. I like today way better.
>>724378667
Like in the 90's when women wanted to look like men with shoulder pads. Who in the fuck wants to smash a manly woman?
"There's a virtue in slowness, which we have lost."

ya i remember aids in the 80's. everyone was freaking out over aids.
People having panic attacks, afraid to even talk or touch someone with aids.
If you had aids you were an outcast in society.
it wasn't until the 90's the fear and panic subsided because governments poured millions into educated the masses that you can't get aids sharing a bus seat with someone with aids.
sadly, condom use was at an all time high.
"The problem was you had to keep choosing between one evil or another, and no matter what you chose, they sliced a little more off you, until there was nothing left."
