There's all sorts of drivers named similarly, two of which are pen related.
At least I think so, I'm pretty sure there were two when the pen was working but when it stopped working there was only one.

Install Gentoo.
It haz all the drivers pre installed.
I never had problems with my no-name tablet with it.
It even has some of the best tools for artists. Like Pan-Creative Brush 3 it can extrapolate your pen movements.

Remove the back lid and look for them.
