Although weed can't be physically addictive, it can be psychologically addictive, just like video games, gambling, etc.

Usually in cases of psychological addiction there are unresolved mental issues like anxiety and depression that you are self-medicating with the weed or video games, etc.

So my suggestion to you is to see a psychologist. If you have little money, a lot of them are often willing to work on a sliding scale.

I went from 3.5g of shatter a week for 6 months to 0 cold turkey. The first couple of days are difficult, depressed, emotional, but things return to normality after a week or so, the cravings will subside then too. Honestly i found it easier to stop then almost anything else, caffeine or alcohol.
