Arctic foxes are adorable.
I would walk
Down to the end
With you
If you would walk
All the way down
With me.
I need to gather materials to start doing collage work. I should also offer art lessons for folks who want to be so-called Sunday painters.
>>724108595
I looked it up. Are you talking about the net?
>>724108670
I don't know what that is.
>>724108783
Were you referencing something else?
I found out there is a place that allows people to rent small warehouses and convert them into living quarters. They're relatively cheap too. I may end up doing that.
>>724108926
The Old College Try.

>>724108975
It's also a work of art apparently and it turns out that I've seen it before as well.
>>724109241
I don't know what that is either.
>>724109324
google this >>724108595
ignore the video and click the first response.
I don't know why it's gotten harder
To keep myself away
I thought I finally beat the feeling but
It all came back today.
Then we fell down
And we locked arms
We knocked the dresser as we rolled across the floor.
I don't mean it when I tell you
That I don't love you anymore.
Look at that, would you look at that?
The way the ceiling starts to swerve.
What will I do when I don't have you
When I finally get what I deserve?
>>724109549
The video is the song whose lyrics I was quoting.
>>724109324
It's a net.
>>724109758
neat, I'll give it a listen.
>>724109770
Right, I know what a net is.
>>724109802
The entire album is very good. If you like sort of desperate angry sad folk rock I'd suggest The Mountain Goats, Tallahassee being my favorite of theirs.
>>724109948
Forgot image.
>>724109758
>>724109802
I gave it a listen and it was entertaining. I liked it.
>>724110136
I do too. I've been spending a lot of time with folk music over the last month.
I sort of hate people who can't spell the word Renaissance.
I still remember seeing the Chimera of Arezzo. That same day I sketched a bust of Caligula and saw a blind person walking around in the galleries.
I thought it was very strange that there would be a blind person at an art museum. It's a purely visual medium, it requires the use of the one thing which they lack.
Its not like they had work there from Oiticica that use all the senses to appreciate.
It was all sculpture and pottery from Ancient Greece and Rome.
I wonder if I would have been a painter or a sculptor in the Ancient world.

>>724111018
They are Venuses, based on the work from the Paleolithic.
I could post what I have of my Tom comic instead of this.
>>724111027
Hello.
>>724111092
I know what paleolithic means, but not the Venus part. Could you please explain?

I like this one >>724112094 a lot for some reason. The shapes appeal to me.
>>724112446
Yes, I figured. Besides Snuggles, you are the only one that seems to like it. Is it that they're organized and on the same plain?
>>724112461
I like all your paintings to be truthful.
>>724112584
I appreciate it.
>>724112541
James, i hope you didn't paint these. They're no Nude Descending a Staircase No. 8, way too jumbled, have a beginning and an end but the content in between is gibberish
>>724112541
I'm not sure why I like them yet. I haven't wrapped my head around it yet. Also, are you calling me snuggles because you think I am a specific person or just because? I'm only saying that because if you are referring to a specific person I am not that person.
>>724112662
I would never claim to be nearly as good as Duchamp. He set the art world on fire with a urinal. We were also approaching from two completely different mind sets, he was insulting Futurism, I was interested only in the structure.
>>724112725
Yes, I am referring to a specific person that is different from you. He purchased one of these drawings from me.
>>724112957
I prefer your older work. Whatever happened to the statues? You were posting snaps now i haven't seen any in ages
>>724112957
Also, i was wrong, i was thinking Nude Descending a Staircase No. 2, not 8
>>724112957
I think he has good taste.
>>724113021
This is my older work. The sculptures are newer, within the last six months or so.
>>724112957

Oh, he is still emailing me.
Love poems about some lady apparently.
He thinks a lot about pizza apparently.
Sadly, your art, poetry and sculpting skills are bland. its like the same damn concept except you do it 20 times with minuscule changes. I see no fine detail in the sculpting, just milk carton plaster mold heads that everyone did in 3rd grade art. I think you should find a new day job like protesting women's rights
>>724114998
Cool. What poetry?
james does poetry?

>>724119173
Raccoon, did you read that miss america chavez comic? It was a masterpiece of storytelling
>>724119864
Can you name what was wrong with it while not mentioning politics?
>>724120842
Lets see
>It was almost entirely devoid of anything that could be considered story
>The opening with "asking people what they think about ___" is awful, I think one of the Captain Marvel ones did the same
>Ewings work to give Chavez someone to develop character with is torn down in literally one page
>to further that, they break up because she doesn't want to move with the girl who can literally teleport. That's like breaking up with someone who can literally create delicious food because they don't like grocery shopping
>She punches Hitler, who just happens to be casually standing behind her in dress uniform in the middle of a battlefield
Shit, does Hitler count as politics? I tried to avoid the clique of rhyming stereotypes spouting Fifth Element references who were introduced and immediately ignored within half a page.
I guess the art was okay. It wasn't amazing but it certainly didn't make me want to gouge my eyes out.
>>724121341
Well, to answer your question, I didn't read it. lol
>>724121548
It may be the worst Marvel comic I've ever read. Or at least the most... unprofessional? I'm not sure how to word it. US War Machine 2 is probably worse.
It feels like it was made by a teenager writing a webcomic. I wouldn't be able to tell you what the series is about, because other than "it has X character" it doesn't seem to be about anything.
I would legitimately put it beneath the Squirrel Girl series, even at it's worst. At least SG sort of had narrative.
>>724121785
Damn, I hoped for more, given the cover is incredibly well coloured. But that's what happens when you give solos to character with no flaws or possible character arc. I mean, if we had to choose from Ewing characters, even Blue Marvel, the invincible Superman, has more stories to tell than America. It seems its another book in the series of Squirrel Girl -> Hellcat -> Mockinbird? But it's harder to tell because this one has actual art. At least that's the impression you're giving me.
(as a side note, Mockinbird had actually gotten good when it tied in with Civil War II, before it was cancelled.)
Ah well, Marvel still publishes like ten good books.
>>724121785
>Not wanting a Modok only story
>>724122054
America does have flaw. She is a bit of a bitch and so she should conflict with other characters. Sort of like how good writers do Danvers. Too stubborn and aggressive sometimes when a lighter touch is needed.
>It seems its another book in the series of Squirrel Girl -> Hellcat -> Mockingbird?
Sort of, yeah. Or maybe that Wasp comic, I haven't read that since the first issue. Mockingbird made me think the writer was a bit of a psycho, but even then it had a plot. Things moved. MAC is worse than that.
I've not really seen Hellcat outside of randomly posted pages on /co/. I'm not a fan of Leth so I can't really comment on that
>>724122262
MODOK was best in Gwenpool, which was better than it had any right to be for such a fucking awful concept.
Holy fuck these threads are slow
>>724122420
I love how Carol ended up becoming an established bitch when Marvel obviously wants her to become their Wonder Woman in time for her movie. Makes her more interesting, if you ask me.
>>724122420
Eh, honestly I don't even like DC or Marvel.
It's alright now and then, but it's a cluster fuck.
>>724122548
You know, as much as the whole CWII thing put me off, Carol's story with not-Justin Trudeau turning out to be a bad guy was pretty great.
And yeah, characters gotta have some kind of pull. Flaws are always a good one.
>>724122649
I'm not really a fan of DC's universe, which is kinda sad cause right now they're in a better place than Marvel.
art
>>724122713
>Flaws are always a good one
It all started in the 60's when the Fantastic Four started the Silver Age by fighting each other instead of just their enemies; when Spider-Man broke new ground by struggling to make ends meet and having women problems; flaws make the characters more realistic and appealing. It's what Marvel has always been about. Just look at its trinity right now: Iron Man in a coma, Thor is unworthy, Captain America is a villain, its Wonder Woman is a bitch. They're defined by their struggles. "Make Mine Marvel!"
>they're in a better place than Marvel.
Oh, shush. You just said you aren't even a fan. As a reader of both, I can confirm they both publish an equal amount of good books.
>>724122713
They both seem to be failing. At least with movies. I don't keep up with the other shit.
>>724123188
I just phrased it wrong, I'm tired. I like DC (holy fucking shit I am hyped for Elmer Fudd v Batman), I just like Marvel's universe more. It feels bigger.
>>724123311
I haven't watched the movies in ages. I think the last Marvel one I saw was like, Captain America. Didn't watch BvS or SS
>>724124400
I saw the new Cap America with Reid, George, and Michael a while back in theaters, but it was eh.
>>724124400
Well, I still feel like they publish equally good books.
You're right about Marvel, it is literally bigger since they haven't rebooted, so it's been going on for longer.
>>724122966

these niggas got so fugin assblasted they made a doxing thread, ppl were trying real hard to figure out where i lived and all and they're blaming me for their spam and how that board went to shit, well at least that was all happening last time I checked, I left since cause it's all just so painful to read
