nope never invest on a large company like tesla, yes they are going to grow rapidly but literally everyone else is investing in them, that brings the overall return down, i would invest in (and have) raw assets, not rare metals though because that fluctuates wayyy tooo much, conister american steel and foreign coal (if you can get in) fantastic returns on those fronts for the foreseeable future.

TSLA is my 3rd largest holding behind MSFT and AMZN. All three of those stocks have been on a major tear over the last several months.

I'd suggest buying MSFT and AMZN if they have a day where they lose more than 3% of their current price on any given day, because there's a ton of upside on those stocks. But both of them are at 365-day highs right now so you might just want to wait for a temporary dip so you can make a little more. All the other stocks I named are good to buy right now or tomorrow morning when the market opens.

I agree with this anon if you're just getting started. If you're just starting out with $800-900, don't buy individual stocks yet. Wayyyy too much volatility and you have no idea if a meteor is going to strike the company HQ or the CEO is going to get arrested or something and send all your money into the toilet.
