Being lost in a forest is one of them. Just dying from exposer, being alone, being hungry and thirsty in the middle of nowhere and knowing nearly nothing about the area is scary. Especially considering some forests are hundreds of miles. Plus, you never know what kind of animal/thing is watching you from a distance. Forests have always creeped me out and I just generally don't like them.
