I can't play mods either for some reason. Everytime I think about playing mods I know I'm playing some fat loser's version of the game.

Everyone looks like a muppet, the trees all have a strange blur to them that make up the leaves, the armor designs are pretty much all terrible looking, the lighting effects are easily the worst of any game I have ever played, the bloom being hilariously bad. The colors are over saturated, the UI is tacky, everyone stands like they have scoliosis

I think that's oblivion with the skyrim graphics mod. I still prefer the old charm of the clumsy cartoony graphics of plain oblivion.
