All about dare
>>723751236
hallelujah money :-)
The other day I was thinking how the atmosphere behind Gorillaz music is far ahead of what they had in mind. Almost on the level of George Martin production, aimed towards Nine Inch Nails in the sense of having so much going on, but still keeping the level of music theory simple at best. I'm really impressed with the music from this project.
I guess it's because of Warner Bros?
>>723751236

>>723752009
I love pumping Dare as I pull onto the empty freeway at night, and hit top speed right as the beat drops out at the start. Such a good high-speed driving song.
3 way tie between Latin Simone, El manana, and On melancholy hill
>>723758126
Gorillaz is my favorite band, but I really didn't like Hallelujah Money. I get what they're going for, but nah.
To Binge just makes me feel happy
Dirty Harry hands down.
>>723763397
People hate when I blast Latin Simone.
"que pasa contigooooo?"
Superfast Jellyfish and All Alone are my favorites
>>723751236
anything not by Gorillaz. Try real music, like NIN.
>>723761192
Why don't you like some of their best work? Did you fail to grow up along with the band?
This is a solid fucking thread. Goddamn, these guys are amazing. They've been my favorite band since I was like 14. Interpol has tied up with them for the past few years. They don't sound like Gorillaz, but they're super good.
For my favorite song? Jesus, I don't even know. Sound Check, Man Research, O Green World, and Melancholy Hill are some of my favorites.
I actually can't really listen much to DARE or Feel Good Inc. anymore. I don't know if my tastes have shifted a bit or if I heard them too much. Those tracks got me into Gorillaz and now I skip them every single time.
>up late at 12 years old when toonami puts 19-2000 music video on
Where were you when you first heard discovered the brilliance of Damon Albarn?
>>723763836
>Real music
So you're one of THOSE fags
>>723763415
Same here. I blast every album but I do not like that song.
>>723763415
the song's okay but the political message is annoying
>>723763836
Hey, man. This thread is just a bunch of people just trying to share their interests. No reason to be a prick. Let people enjoy things. Life's a bit happier when you treat people better.
>>723763938
Clint Eastwood dark angel 2002
>>723764026
You want to listen to your girly music go ahead but when you feel like growing up to appreciate real music look into NIN.
>>723763938

>>723763937
>Those tracks got me into Gorillaz and now I skip them every single time.
Same for me. It's overplayed.
>>723763938
My mom bought a cd copy of demon days out of nowhere 2hen it came out. If you loaded it onto a computer it had the music videos. I remember being mesmerized by the visuals of Feel Good Inc. I listened to the album for a week or two then stopped. Almost a decade later I rediscovered them and became obsessed for a few months. Now they're just one of my favorites. Thanks mom!
