Nope too young. The trichomes should be larger, thicker, and darker in color. Almost milky or lighlty yellowed in some cases. If you harvest now your product will have a much weaker potency than if you waited and might even give you anxiety, a headache, or an unpleasurable high if its still dank enough despite not being fully grown.

I use two ways to prepare my buds

First I clip enough buds to fill a jar and I do a wet cure, filling and draining the jar of buds with distilled water for 5-7 days, dry in a food dehydrator for 4 hours, ready to smoke

With the rest of the harvest I clip all the buds and hang them in a box. It really depends on what the room's humidity is, but in my usually 50% or less area it usually only takes a few days for the outside to feel dry, at which point I clip off the buds from the stems and jar them with a Boveda 62 humidity pack, I used to monitor the humidity with a hygrometer in the jars, but discovered the Boveda packs do all the work, usually cured and ready to smoke in about 2 weeks

I should have said "water cure", but just as I said, you put the weed in a jar, fill it with distilled water, drain it the next day (holes in the jar lid), refill with water, repeat for around a week - this leeches out all the chlorophyll, etc, then on the last day you drain it and dump them all in a food dehydrator for about 4 hours, leaving you with brown colored buds that are air light and ready to smoke, the smell and taste are almost gone, it all burns to white ash....the point is to have smokeable weed in a week

My first few grows I let them grow fairly naturally, but started ScrOG as you get higher yields.

It's a contraction of Screen Of Green. The plants are grown under a 2" mesh screen and the branches spread out so you (ideally) have a bud growing through each hole in the mesh. The buds grow more evenly and all think they're top buds.

dude... thats fucked up. Just properly flush the plant and stop nutes well before harvest. Air dry 10 days then cure in a jar for atleast another 20 days burping the jar daily to release humidity. I prefer a properly cured bud I generally cure for two months before smoking. I dont think i've ever ran out of smoke. worst case ontario I have a quarter of shatter stashed in the freezer. That would last me like three months lol.
