All money would be electronic, you wouldnt be able to recieve of transfer money without it being taxed at some point. Unlike now example you gift your mom 80 bucks the income leaves your bank account and no longer exist until it is spent by your mother and taxed again.

Exactly, how would you buy weed? Does your weed dealer accept card? How would gift currencies go unreported? How about we stack insintives like travel points, rewards for using papperless currencies. How would a homless person survive on the street without digital currency? Most people only pay electronicly but is it better?

The government would be able to monitor EVERY transaction. Barter would rise along with alternative currencies. Basically a giant fuck fest.
