Those green lights indicate that the parking lights are on and probably you have your low beams on too. Turn them off and you'll see if disappear. You're on "e" but have a 3 gallon reserve so don't stress about the gas

Regular beam - points in the regular direction, a bit down towards to road but mainly forward, to see where you are going.

Actually to the argument over high and low beams it may be true that some bulbs are the same and the angle is different resulting in a "higher" beam but the pattern is different on many hign vs low beams as well making the "high" beams indeed brighter, Think in terms of a flashlight that focuses a beam vs when it is a more open pattern. High beams are the more focused position.

Headlamp bulbs have two separate filaments in them. They're kind of like two bulbs in one; they just share the same glass enclosure. But they can burn out independently. High beams are brighter than low beams for this reason.

Referring to them as "brights" is likely a regional difference, like calling a water fountain a bubbler.

Saying "brights" is incorrect is like saying "low beams" is more correct than headlights. It's technically true, but it makes you a pedantic faggot.
