Do you have to go through a ass load of red tape for suppressors?

It was sold with the gun so I'm not sure. My local dealer signed off on papers identifying each firearm and that was sent through to the police for licensing which took a fucking long time to pass. We have done tests with and without it using sub sonics and it makes a significant difference, quieter even than the .22 air rifle which uses a gas ram rather than a conventional noisey as fuck spring.
