ive tried to do some "detailed" style painting.. ive been practicing ornamental spencerian penmanship for last few months and have mastered it pretty well.. and became very proficient with airbrush style painting.. but when i try brush to paper to painting something, it just doesnt look right ever haha.. There's something about a beautiful leatherbound book that just does it for me. Very much a case of "they don't make them like they used to anymore"

I play warmachine (like warhammer but a different setting and smaller armies so i don't have to spend ages painting the same dude 40+ times) plus a few other lesser known table top wargames.

I used to play warhammer fantasy and 40k, but didn't like AOS, and got fed up with 40k as it was a pain to keep up, as every month a new rules update and more models came out, so unless you were constantly dumping money into it, you'd always be at a disadvantage, i'd rather play a balanced game.

I pick up older computers (Windows 98 & XP era) and fix them up. Clean it inside and out: dust everything, fresh thermal paste, cable manage everything, and then do a fresh instal of the time period correct OS.
I love finding interesting and antiquated old cases.
